Last year’s Celebration of Excellence may have been canceled due to COVID-19, but this year’s Celebration of Excellence will go on as planned…virtually! In this 60th Year of The Arc of Howard County, we hope you will join us for the Virtual Celebration of Excellence on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Nominations now open for this virtual event where we honor those who have made a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
The Arc of Howard County seeks to recognize individuals and groups who put our mission statement into practice. We invite all to nominate the person or group you believe is helping to promote an inclusive environment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This year’s categories for nomination will be:
Self-Advocate of the Year
Excellence in Employment
Excellence in Schools
Excellence in Professional Services
Excellence in Community
Excellence in Public Service
Volunteer of the Year
