January 13th, 2022 is The Arc’s Legislative Calendar Day, where chapters of The Arc across Maryland have historically united to raise awareness and advocate for the rights and wellbeing of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The calendar contains stories of Marylanders supported by chapters of The Arc, holidays and legislative events throughout the year, and birthdays of their fellow representatives!

This event will be virtual this year.

Brush up on your advocacy skills, learn about the new House and Senate protocols for the 2022 session, discuss priority legislation, and get tips on speaking with legislators during our Legislative Calendar Day Advocacy Training from 4 to 5 p.m. on January 12th! This training event is free to attend for members and partners of The Arc.
