At The Arc of Howard County, we are working every day to help children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy full community life. We provide services to nearly 2,000 children and adults. We are committed to providing a socially and technologically established environment for both our employees and the individuals we serve.

Training
Training is provided by energetic, qualified professionals who work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Adult learning styles are designed to be highly interactive. Courses include active discussion, case studies, demonstrations, multimedia and lecture. All classes meet DDA requirements and are free to employees of The Arc.

Policies & Procedures
The Arc has a comprehensive Policies and Procedures manual that answers most questions for prospective and current employees about everything from confidentiality to staff development.
